Wine labeling design proposal

Created design proposals for a winemaker based in Central Otago. This project was the time I belonged to a creative production and studio, Swish, in 2021 and associated with the creative director, I managed the execution of delivering the print file. It ended with a simpler design, and it was rewarded when I saw the bottle of red wine in a local liquor store near my workplace.

Summary

Mission

To create a wine bottle label that balanced classic elegance with a fresh, modern look for a winemaker based in Central Otago. The challenge was to design something that would stand out on the shelf while reflecting the high-quality, refined nature of the wine. My goal was to produce a design that was both timeless and contemporary, appealing to a broad range of consumers.

My Contributions

I worked alongside the creative director at Swish to develop design proposals and manage the execution of the print files. Given the size limitations of the label, I spent time experimenting with icon dimensions and font sizes to ensure clarity and visual impact. After refining the design, the final result was simpler but elegant, and it was incredibly rewarding to see the label on a bottle in a local liquor store near my workplace.
