Summary
Mission
To make data accessible and engaging for everyday readers by transforming raw insights into stories that spark curiosity and understanding. For this project, I aimed to bridge the gap between data science and the public by designing visuals that not only conveyed accuracy but also invited exploration. My goal was to ensure the content felt relevant, trustworthy, and easy to grasp—regardless of the reader’s familiarity with the subject matter.
My Contributions
I collaborated closely with data scientists to distill complex datasets into simple, visual explanations. This involved identifying meaningful narratives, iterating on visual formats, and applying design systems that suited Stuff’s editorial voice. I tested various visual styles to find the right balance between information density and clarity—ultimately delivering data visualisations that were accurate, intuitive, and editorially aligned, all within tight production timelines.
